Casting Call:
The Time of Our Lives

Over the summer we commissioned ten Somerset theatre professionals to collaborate on a new play charting the impact of coronavirus on the culture and consciousness of Somerset.  The collaborators were Akulah Agbami, Emma Bettridge, Richard Crowe, Matt Emeny, Chris Fogg, Helena Payne, Avril Silk, Angie Ward and Williams & Williams.

The final collaborative script THE TIME OF OUR LIVES has been edited by Richard Crowe, and is the result of this innovative project which we delivered through our Arts Council England funded Somerset Emergency Theatre programme.

The play charts the impact of Covid-19 over six Somerset households during 2020.

We will be filming a rehearsed reading of the play at Bridgwater Arts Centre on 16 December 2020.  The film will be broadcast as an episode of Theatre Night digital edition.
