Tall Tails Theatre Company

With the need for theatre and live arts venues to remain closed for the festive period, many families across the country stood not to have their Christmas show or pantomime this year. Thankfully, Tall Tails Theatre Company’s new production 'What a Superhero Wants for Christmas' can be viewed online for FREE until 14 January.

Doorstep Superheroes

On the 29th of March, after consulting with Wassail and Shepton Mallet's PCSO Tall Tails Theatre Company embarked on a mission to spread some lockdown joy and merriment around the town.

"At first we were nervous, how would people react? Would we see anyone? Would the idea bring the joy we were hoping for?"

In short, the answer was yes! Car horn beeps, standing ovations, Emergency Services smiles, waves and a surprise birthday party involving wand making, party dances, games and ten cakes helped make Shepton the happiest place in Somerset!
