The Bluebirds Theatre Company have created The Popera House, a gloriously blue mobile theatre on wheels.

Through Wassail's Connecting Communities commission, The Bluebirds will be taking their retelling Hans Christian Anderson's tale of the magic of song: The Empress and The Nightingale to audiences in North Curry.

Meet the Empress and China, the brown nightingale and the magnificent clockwork nightingale, and most important of all, meet Lu Xi the clever little kitchen maid who navigates you skilfully through the story.  As with all Bluebird show, The Empress and the Nightingale is a feast of music.
